Explore the wild beauty of Keta Park
Keta Park offers a unique combination of hunting and safari experiences with abundant wildlife. Terry McLintock, the park's owner, has dedicated most of his life to developing and conserving wildlife in South Africa. This private reserve has previously been reserved for Terry's family, friends and colleagues, but now the doors are also opening to Swedish visitors via Jaktstil, which we are extremely grateful for. We are well aware of the commitment and resources that have gone into creating such an exclusive and well-maintained place.
Among other things, Terry has been a prominent breeder of rhinos, which used to be seen on the farm. Due to the risk of poaching, which threatened both the animals and the family's safety despite extensive security measures, the rhinos and other particularly endangered species such as lions and elephants have been moved to another reserve in Lephalale, created together with other promoters. This new reserve is just an hour's drive from Keta Park, or even quicker if you choose to fly in the park's helicopter.
We highly recommend booking a helicopter tour to experience the savannah and the surrounding parks from above. Although leopards are difficult to spot due to their skill in camouflaging themselves, Keta Park offers chances to see these majestic felines from time to time.
