Find your Hunting Shirt - Flannel, Fleece or Tattersall Shirt?

What makes a hunting shirt a perfect hunting shirt? There are about as many answers to that question as there are different types of shirts.
It all depends on your preference in material, thickness, buttons and a range of other preferences that come into play. We've now added even more soft and stylish hunting shirts to our range, both for men and women. In this post, you can see our latest men's hunting shirts, and what makes those shirts our favorites.
Countrysport flannel shirt
The latest flannel shirt from the British family business Hoggs of Fife. This is an addition to the collection of our already very popular flannel shirts from the supplier. It is the same soft and lovely material, spaciousness and length of the shirt as the previous ones. This way you can easily start from your previous size if you are already familiar with the model. Otherwise, we generally recommend going down a size in it, as it tends to be perceived as slightly large by most people.
With its classic fit and length, you can easily wear it as an overshirt for outdoor occasions that are not just about hunting. For example, over a thin quilted vest like this. You adjust or button the sleeves at the cuff, and the chest pockets are easily closed with the zipper, which ensures that nothing falls out when you are out and about.
In summary, you get a lot of good shirt for your money (495 SEK), especially since it is made in the UK.
Countryman - Burgundy plaid hunting shirt
This Countryman shirt from British hunting and outdoor company Jack Pyke is also an affordable option to keep in mind when looking for your new hunting shirt.
The shirt is made from a blend of cotton and technical fibers to provide increased functionality when you get hot or humid, for example. The fit and length of the shirt can probably be classed as the "slimmest" and shortest in our range, especially in comparison to the shirts we have from Hoggs of Fife.
The shirt has a button-down collar, and stylish stripes in classic country-style burgundy color. It allows you to easily match the shirt with both ties and sweaters in most colors.
Price: 595 kr.
Please note that this shirt has unfortunately been discontinued. Find similar jackets for women here.
Inverness - Plaid Tattersall Shirt
Another option from both staff and customer favorites Hoggs of Fife. The Inverness shirt is an update of the popular tatters shirt we have had with us since the beginning. The biggest difference from its predecessor is the quality and feel of the shirt, as this one is even slightly softer and more durable. In addition, there are also some differences in the colors of the squares. As before, the shirts are made in the U.K. of a soft quality of 100% cotton.
The fit is just as before wide (classic regular fit), and going down a size from your "usual" is usually a good idea. The length means that the shirt can be worn both tucked in or outside the pants if desired. In contrast to the Countryman shirt from Jack Pyke above, this one has a slightly more extended width and length. You wear these shirts just like the one above, also just by itself, or combined with a sweater or tie. For Wine Red/Blue/Green and for Navy/Olive here.
